Royal Yachts bids adieu to 2018 in style

The CEO of Royal Yachts, Mohamed Al Zaabi, had a great time celebrating New Year’s Eve with their close family and friends. The luxury yacht party Dubai was organized on a that left Marasi Marina at around 7 in the evening and arrived in front of the majestic Burj Al Arab around 8:30 pm. The overall vibe in front of the Burj Al Arab was great as music and laughter echoed in the atmosphere.

By 11 pm, the whole area was packed with party yachts of all shape and size – be it a small-sized day boat or mega yachts such as Quattroelle, Moonlight 2 and DXB Benetti. Even the superyacht Dubai, owned by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, graced the area with its presence. The Royal Yachts’ fleet, comprising of yachts Majesty and Black Pearl, was also anchored nearby.

As the clock struck midnight, horns on the yachts blared in unison and the whole atmosphere was filled with loud cheers and celebrations. It was followed by a spectacular display of fireworks that filled the night sky. Even the dazzling fireworks near Burj Khalifa and Jumeirah Beach Residence could be seen from our luxury yachts. The marinas were all empty as all yachts and luxury boats were out in the sea with guests onboard. The whole city of Dubai was in an ecstatic mood waiting for 2019 to commence.

Dazzling fireworks display at Burj Khalifa and Abu Dhabi

Visitors celebrating the yacht party Dubai were delighted with the fabulous fireworks display at Burj Khalifa. The world’s tallest skyscraper enthralled the audience with mesmerizing fireworks but also projects elements from the culture of the United Arab Emirates such as camels and falcons. The enchanting light show at Burj Khalifa also marked the end of Year of Zayed and showcased Dubai’s sustainability goals towards achieving energy efficiency.

Abu Dhabi wasn’t far behind in their attempt to provide a mesmerizing New Year experience to its citizens. The ten-minute light show at the stroke of midnight captivated the audience as ‘Happy New Year 2019’ was spelled out in the night sky with an array of colorful fireworks. With this, the city broke the world record of lighting up the world’s largest sentence with fireworks.

Elsewhere, lavish gala dinner parties were organized atop Dubai’s best hotels and restaurants. Atlantis The Palm arranged for a 30-piece live band for their guests’ entertainment and offered great views of the glorious fireworks up in the sky. The majestic 2000-seater Dubai Opera organized a high profile New Year’s Eve Black & White Party. What a great way to start New Year 2019!
