Playtime, the 2018 Lagoon 630 power catamaran, is a beautiful, four-stateroom plus crew layout, which has the Galley located down to starboard, leaving a huge, open Salon and Dining Area. Twin sliding doors can be opened to the enormous Aft Deck as well, which contains more dining and lounging areas with a large bar console. Steering stations are forward of the Salon and to port and starboard on the expansive Flybridge. Twin Volvo D4 300hp engines and two generators provide propulsion and power, along with an inverter system. The 96,000 BTU air conditioning system keeps the boat very comfortable. She is a very highly optioned US spec with 60 Hz power.
Key Features
The Salon has large, L-shaped sofas to port and starboard. A coffee table anchors one side, and two expandable and liftable tables go from cocktail level to raised, unfolded position, forming dining accommodation for more than 6 people. Sliding double doors may be opened to make the aft deck flow to the salon seamlessly. The Lower Helm is forward on the centerline for operation in inclement weather with full controls and electronics.
The covered aft deck is set up for al fresco dining with a large, L-shaped banquette on the starboard side and a serving console to port with refrigeration. Teak decks lead aft to additional seating and lounging areas.
Aft in the port hull is the fully equipped Galley with access from the aft deck or via the Salon. Natural light fills this space, making the chef’s job even more enjoyable.
The luxurious Master Stateroom takes up almost half of the starboard side and can be accessed from the Aft Deck or the Salon. The walk-around berth faces outboard to enable views of the water through large portlights. An oversized hanging locker is forward and aft is a dedicated seating area just forward of the ensuite head, which has steps to the aft deck.
The VIP Guest Stateroom is entered via stairs to starboard of the Lower Helm. The walk-around berth faces outboard for a view of the water through hull side portlights. This stateroom has a bit more space than the 2nd Stateroom and contains a makeup / writing desk and has an ensuite head.
To port of the Lower Helm is a stairway to Guest Stateroom number 3. The walk-around berth faces outboard, like the others, to give view of the water through the hull side portlights. This room has a hanging locker, storage drawers and an ensuite head.
Guest Stateroom (4) is reached via a stairway on the port side of the Salon which it shares with the Galley. Generously sized upper and lower bunks lie against the inboard side and a desk and drawers lie beneath the hull side portlights. This stateroom may be used for guests or crew members. The ensuite head’s toilet and sink room have a second door which is accessible as a day head at the base of the stairs to the Guest Stateroom #3.
The Crew Quarter is located in the port bow compartment.
The Flybridge has starboard and port helms, a dining area for six, seating across the aft side and stairs and wet bar with refrigerator on the port side. The optional hardtop with retractable center section has a full enclosure. Sun lounges are forward.
The bow features two areas for sunning, bow seats and ground tackle runs down the centerline.
