50M / 165 FT GRAND TOURING PERFORMANCE CRUISING SLOOP
Not every exceptional yacht begins with a blank sheet. Project Synergy did.
From Timothy Saunders’ first sketch, developed with the original Owner’s vision, Synergy evolved through a clear masterplan into a genuinely distinctive one-off superyacht. The Owner gave him the freedom to breathe life into this timeless, iconic concept.
Today, Synergy offers a rare opportunity to acquire an advanced 50 m superyacht, with design, engineering, construction and craftsmanship already realised - yet open to selected personalisation during completion. Timothy Saunders Yacht Design (TSYD) originated and developed the concept, exterior styling and interior design, with Dykstra Naval Architects and specialists. Saunders’ holistic approach integrated General Arrangement, circulation, serviceability and engineering from the outset, creating a Grand Touring Performance Cruising Sloop with rewarding sailing performance, genuine ocean-going capability and superyacht refinement.
Conceived ahead of her time, Synergy continues to stand the test of time.
Optimised for private, family and charter use, her General Arrangement combines generous guest spaces, discreet crew circulation, service access and ample storage.
Inside, natural woods and veneers, solid teak, leather, selected marbles and Lucio Bubacco glass artworks create a sophisticated interior. Large portholes and the longitudinal saloon skylight bring ample daylight throughout. Resiliently mounted floors, ceilings and bulkheads, with sound-damping and insulation, create a quiet, serene cruising environment. An Owner’s Suite and four guest suites accommodate up to 12 guests. The Electrolux Grand Cuisine galley supports family dining, special events and charter; officer and crew areas are also well finished. Outside, a large flush foredeck conceals twin 5.6 m diesel-jet tenders beneath carbon hatches. A sheltered aft cockpit links with the main saloon; a private Owner’s aft deck and expansive sun deck offer retreat, dining and entertaining. The full-beam carbon transom becomes a swim platform.
Twin 320 kg submerged anchors retract beneath the waterline when stowed - a distinctly 007-style innovation preserving the clean bow beneath the bowsprit.
A Grade-A steel hull, carbon-hybrid composite superstructure and carbon spars reduce weight aloft and contribute to a low centre of gravity. Her 325 GT sits within a sleek profile; the 4.83 m / 15 ft 10 in fixed-keel draft balances performance with cruising access. Her sailing package includes a 63 m carbon mast, carbon furling boom, Reckmann/NSM furlers, Lewmar hydraulics, BSI rigging and Elvstrøm EPEX Carbon/Technora sails. High Modulus, Rondal and Opacmare are represented. Design-stage work indicated top-ten Bucket-regatta potential.
Construction progressed under regular MCA attendance to MCA LY2 and RINA requirements. A zero-hour Caterpillar C32 ACERT 1,000 hp main engine, Caterpillar generators and controllable-pitch propulsion underline a key advantage: Synergy is well prepared for her first operational life.
Originally developed as E471 Project Troy, she now advances as Project Synergy.
From her new Owner’s signature, the programme targets approximately 6-9 months to completion and readiness for her first season. Selected fabrics, furnishings, colours and final finishes can carry her new Owner’s signature.
The yacht already exists. The vision, architecture and engineering are established. Her new Owner can now personalise her and take her forward.
Lying in South-West Turkey, Project Synergy is offered with extensive project inventory at US$12,960,000. TSYD remains available through completion.
That is Synergy.
We look forward to showcasing Project Synergy to Owners and representatives.
