The Company was founded in 2011 by Mr. Mohamed Al Zaabi as it was his vision to create a new evolution in the Luxury Charter market. His vision turned to reality as he began and grew his luxury yachting Business in the Mena region offering high end luxury charters. During this time, he realized a wanting demand in yacht brokerage and developed the Royal Yachts brokerage activity.

Nowadays Royal Yachts provides an innovative service no longer based on a simple activity of brokerage but focused on an exclusive, personalized and complete consulting service aimed at the most demanding and expert customers.

The keystone of Royal Yachts is to treat the client and his operations thinking of the luxuries that take place in them; therefore not a mere broker, often without license, but rather a manager, a consultant, a professional, who together with the client can share common interests. The client, once perceived to deal with a professional who can understand his needs and share his lifestyle choices, will naturally entrust Royal Yachts with the management of an asset such as a yacht, his own holidays (charter), the sale or purchase of his dream.

In the last few years, customers and yacht owners have often been treated, not with the care and assistance they would need when buying a new yacht or buying and selling a second hand one, chartering or management of their holiday. It is from this reflection that Royal Yachts  proposes a new concept of yachting consulting a highly professional service (commercial / technical / legal) guaranteed by more than thirty years of experience and professional ability of its team, from a desire to offer a complete service that goes beyond pure advice but thanks to the philosophy of good living can give some useful suggestions to use their yachts and yachting, thus leaving the owner, the pleasure of using yachts, both owned and chartered, without the technical / management problems of the same.

After accurately identifying a gap in the market from the lack of quality yacht charter companies, he realised that Royal Yachts could become the Industry Pioneer, offering these critical yachting services to ensure an unparalleled luxury yachting experience with a wide range of prestigious yachts to choose from. His extensive 8-year experience in the yachting industry has proved invaluable for the steady growth Royal Yachts and under Mr. Al Zaabi’s capable leadership, the company also attained the exclusive Middle East dealerships of San Lorenzo, Fairline and Bella Boats

Maurizio Magri
Managing Director

After graduating from the Navy Academy in Livorno, Italy, Maurizio Magri acquired a Degree in Maritime Management at the Texas AM University. Since 1985, Mr. Magri has had a long and rich experience as an entrepreneur in the shipping business. Since 1994, he started his career as an entrepreneur and help top managerial positions in the yachting industry. He has also been successfully associated with an globally renowned Italian shipyard specialized in steel/aluminum and grp construction from 25 up to 60 mrts like CBI NAVI SPA, Admiral Yachts SPA, Tecnomar SPA and Mangusta.
